Keeping a patch hat looking new
- Spot clean only. Warm water, a little dish soap, and a soft brush.
- Never put it in the washing machine. The foam front loses its shape and the patch adhesive gives up.
- Never put it in the dryer, for the same reason plus a few more.
- Air dry on something round so the crown keeps its shape. A rolled towel works.
- Keep it out of a hot car for long stretches. Heat is what set the patch, and heat is what will unset it.
If a patch edge lifts
It happens, usually from a hot car. Bring it by or send it back and we will re-press it. No charge in the first year.
3D printed items
Wash with mild soap and cool water. Not dishwasher safe, and not food safe unless the product page says otherwise. Keep prints out of direct sun and hot cars, since the plastic softens.
